Bonfires

One of the oldest Mad Poets traditions, the Mad Poets bonfires bring poetry, music, and the great outdoors together. They occur once or twice a year in the Spring and/or Fall. After activities such as workshops and performances, we share music and poetry by the light of a carefully tended fire. Attendees are invited to camp overnight, but it is not necessary. Marshmallows included!

Mad Poets Festival

Every October, poets from all over gather at the Media Borough Hall to celebrate another year of creativity and poetry. The event spans the whole day and features between 40-50 poets. It is an inspirational day that builds community and brings together great people and great writers. This event is also always a food drive, collecting canned goods for local food banks.
